Purpose

The Citizens Environmental Quality Committee was created by the City Council in 1996 to serve as an advisory board to the City Planning Commission. The Committee is responsible for the attainment of the environmental goals and implementation of environmental policies of the Winona 1995 Comprehensive Plan and modifications to the plan as they occur.

Membership Criteria

Winona citizens who are knowledgeable in environmental or natural resource related areas. The Chair of the Committee will be a member of the Planning Commission.
