Thank you for joining us last winter season, whether you stopped by any of our outdoor ice rinks to skate or read a book and enjoyed some hot cocoa at the Lake Lodge Recreation Center!
Currently for the 2013-2014 winter season, the ice is ready for skating at Tillman Park, the parking lot between the Bob Welch Aquatic Center and the West Recreation Center, Valley Oaks Park, and Knopp Valley Park. All four locations have lights programmed to run from 4:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Also the Lake Lodge Recreation Center Outdoor Ice Rink is able to be skated on. Staff have only been able to flood it a few times; therefore, this location continues to be a work in progress and gets better throughout the season. The lights are currently programmed for this location to be on from 4-10:00 p.m.
The Bud King Ice Arena Outdoor Ice Rink is skateable. The lighting system at night can be turned on manually and must be turned off immediately when you are done.
Please continue to check back for all rink updates as they become available.
Lake Lodge Recreation Center is still open indoors Monday – Friday from 4-7pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1-7pm. Stop on by and join us in the winter fun that is yet to be had, including renting a pair of snow shoes when the weather permits!
