WorldCat: search libraries throughout the country. Requests for these materials must be placed with the librarians at the Reference Desk.

Electronic Library for Minnesota (ELM): access to an extensive list of databases including Britannica Online, eBook Collection from EBSCO, Health Source, MasterFile Premier (magazines), Points of View Reference Center, Star Tribune, St. Paul Pioneer Press, and Wall Street Journal.

OverDrive: download free ebooks and audiobooks to your portable device or computer.

TumbleBookCloud: an online collection for middle and high school students that includes teen/YA titles, graphic novels, short stories, classics, poetry, audiobooks, and world class educational videos from National Geographic.

TumbleBookCloud Junior: an online collection designed for elementary and middle school students that includes ebooks and read-along chapter books, graphic novels, audiobooks, and National Geographic educational videos.

EBSCO eBook Collection: mostly nonfiction and classic literature.  Includes Cliff Notes and Nolo books.

ZinioZinio Digital Magazines: download full and enhanced versions of a wide variety of popular magazines.  There are no limits or due dates!  Subscribe to as many as you’d like and receive emails when new issues are available.

Access to newspapers, magazines and scholarly journals. Many articles are full-text, and can be either read on screen, printed, or emailed.

ERIC: bibliographic records of education literature, with some links to full text.

Minnesota Digital Newspaper Hub: area newspapers from Goodhue, Fillmore, Rice, Olmsted, Freeborn, Wabasha, and Steele Counties along with cities all across the state. Over the next two years, you will see additional newspapers from Houston, Dodge, Winona, and Mower County added as well.

Winona Newspaper Project: useful for looking for obituaries, articles and more.

Library of Congress American Memory Project: free and open access to written and spoken words, sound recordings, still and moving images, prints, maps, and sheet music that document the American experience.

Minnesota Reflections Digital Library: a collection of more than 135,000 images, maps and documents from more than 150 of the state’s cultural heritage organizations.

Dalby Database: contains cemetery records for Southeastern Minnesota as well as an index to some local newspapers, church records, and a number of Minnesota history books.  A great resource for genealogists and local historians.  Sponsored by the Owatonna Public Library.
