The mission of the Winona Police Department is to build trust and2020 Squad Car partnerships with the citizens who we serve.

Responsibilities

The Winona Police Department provides both traditional and specialized law enforcement services.  These include:

  • Community Service
  • Evidence Processing
  • Investigations
  • Narcotics Investigations
  • Patrol

The Police Department also embraces the Community Policing Philosophy in order to develop trust and communication within the community.  Together, proactively, we have significantly cut the crime rate.
