We strive to support other organizations committed to similar goals by offering donations in the form of programs or memberships that can be gifted to others or sold as an auction fundraiser. The City typically donates to other 501(c)3 non-profit organizations or organizations working to raise funds for a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. You can find more information on requesting donations here.

Memorials gifts have been a welcome and thoughtful addition to the City of Winona’s parks for many years. Gifts and donations have helped sustain the City's over 15 parks and recreational areas as well as continue youth and adult programming.
Monetary donations may be designated to your favorite areas of the Parks and Recreation department, whether it be a park, the disc golf course, or Bud King Ice Arena. Non-designated donations will be used to meet the current needs of the department.
Park benches and trees are the most common non-monetary donation. However, the City is open to other ideas that fall within the existing comprehensive park system plan, individual park plans, and/or capital improvement program (CIP). More details can be found on the Memorials and Donations page.
