Heritage Preservation Commission

The City of Winona Heritage Preservation Commission was established in 1989 to promote the rehabilitation and conservation of historic properties for the education, inspiration, pleasure, and enrichment of the citizens and visitors of Winona.  The Winona HPC develops historic contexts, surveys, hears Certificates of Appropriateness applications, and coordinates nominations to the National Register of Historic Places and for the designation of historic sites and districts.

Meetings
The Heritage Preservation Commission meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 4:00 pm in the Council Chambers, Winona City Hall.
