How to Apply

There are two ways to apply for an open position with the City of Winona.

ONLINE OPTION: Use the online form by clicking on the “Apply Online” button on the job posting page. The online form will step you through the application, supplemental and veteran’s preference forms as applicable. You will also be able to upload a cover letter, resume and any other supporting documents requested using the prompts within the online form. You may review the questions that will be asked in advance by viewing the PDF link.

The online application is time stamped and any submissions received after the deadline will be automatically rejected. Please allow sufficient time to complete the online form.  Once you start the form you will not be able to save or edit your submission. If multiple submissions are received we will only consider the most recent form submitted prior to the deadline.

PRINT OPTION: Request a printed copy of the documents by contacting human resources or print and complete the application and supplemental forms using the PDF links provided in each job posting. You may send completed applications and requested supporting documents to City of Winona Human Resources via mail, email, fax, or use the “Upload” button below.  Faxed and digital submissions will be accepted as originals.
